When powered by USB, press the "SNZ/LIGHT" button to cycle through 3 levels of brightness (High, Medium, Low) or turn the backlight off. When powered by batteries only, pressing "SNZ/LIGHT" will activate the backlight for 10 seconds.

Press the "MAX/MIN" button to view the maximum and minimum temperature and humidity records for the past 24 hours. Press again to cycle through Max, Min, and current readings.
