The TH285 supports 2x 3.5" HDDs and 3x 2.5" SSDs.

  1. Locate the drive bays in the dual-chamber area of the case.
  2. For 2.5" SSDs: Mount the SSDs to the designated brackets using the provided screws.
  3. For 3.5" HDDs: Slide the HDDs into the drive cages and secure them with screws.

5.5. Stàladh Aonad Solarachaidh Cumhachd (PSU)

  1. Position the PSU in its dedicated compartment at the rear of the case.
  2. Secure the PSU with screws from the exterior rear of the case.

5.6. Stàladh Fan agus Radiator

The case comes with 4x 120mm ARGB PWM fans pre-installed. Additional fans or radiators can be installed as follows:

  • Top: Supports up to 2x 140mm or 2x 120mm fans, or a 240/280mm radiator.
  • Taobh: Supports up to 2x 140mm or 3x 120mm fans, or a 280/360mm radiator.
  • Gu h-ìosal: Supports up to 3x 120mm fans, or a 360mm radiator.

Utilize the cable routing cutouts and tie-down points in the dual-chamber area to organize cables. This improves airflow and maintains a clean interior aesthetic.

Connect the front panel cables (USB 3.0, USB 2.0, HD Audio, Power, Reset, LED) to the corresponding headers on your motherboard. Refer to your motherboard manual for specific header locations.

6.2. ARGB Fan Control

The pre-installed ARGB PWM fans can be controlled via your motherboard's software if it supports Addressable RGB (ARGB) and PWM fan control. Connect the ARGB cables to the appropriate 3-pin 5V ARGB header and the PWM fan cables to 4-pin fan headers on your motherboard.

The TH285 case includes removable dust filters to prevent dust buildup. Regularly clean these filters by gently removing them and washing them with water or brushing off accumulated dust. Ensure they are completely dry before re-installing.
