This single cable will transmit both video and power.
  2. Using HDMI and USB Type-C for power: Connect the Mini-HDMI to HDMI cable from your device to the monitor's Mini-HDMI port. Then, connect the USB Type-A to Type-C cable from your device's USB-A port (or a power adapter) to the monitor's power-only USB Type-C port for power supply.
