4.2 Temperature Selection and Boiling

The kettle offers 5 preset temperature settings, indicated by different LED light colors.

1. Plug the power base into a suitable wall outlet. The LCD display will light up.
2. Brùth air an "SET" button repeatedly to cycle through the desired temperature presets. The LED display will show the selected temperature.
3. The 5 LED colors indicate the following temperature ranges:
• Uaine: 0°C - 40°C (e.g., for water)
• Gorm: 41°C - 60°C (e.g., for formula milk)
• Purpaidh: 61°C - 80°C (e.g., for green tea)
• Solas Gorm: 81°C - 90°C (e.g., for coffee)
• Dearg: 91°C - 100°C (e.g., for black tea, boiling)

4. Once the desired temperature is selected, press the "BOIL" button to start heating. The kettle will heat the water to the selected temperature and then automatically switch to the keep warm function (if applicable).
5. To simply boil water to 100°C, you can directly press the "BOIL" button without selecting a temperature. The kettle will automatically shut off once boiling is complete.

After reaching the selected temperature, the kettle will automatically activate the 30-minute keep warm function. The display will show the current temperature, and the kettle will reheat if the temperature drops below the set point. The kettle will automatically turn off once the water has reached the boiling point or the selected temperature. It is also equipped with boil-dry protection, which automatically switches off the heating element if the kettle is accidentally switched on without sufficient water. Allow the kettle to cool down before refilling.

1. Fill the kettle with 1 cup of white vinegar or lemon juice and 2 cups of water.
2. Boil the mixture and let it stand for 30 minutes.
3. Pour out the solution and rinse the kettle thoroughly with clean water.
4. For stubborn deposits, gently scrub with a soft brush or sponge after soaking.
