The darkFlash DY470 case features tool-less panel removal for easy access to components. The tempered glass side panel and top panel can be easily detached.

  2. Left Side Panel (Tempered Glass): The tempered glass panel is secured with a pull tab. Gently pull the tab to release the panel. Handle with care to avoid damage.
  3. Right Side Panel (Steel): The steel side panel also features a snap-on design. Gently pull the panel from the rear to detach it. This panel is ventilated and includes a removable dust filter for the power supply area.

4.2. Stàladh motherboard

The DY470 supports ATX, M-ATX, and ITX motherboards, including ATX back-mounted motherboards. Install the necessary standoffs in the motherboard tray before securing your motherboard with screws.

4.3. Stàladh GPU

The case supports both horizontal and vertical GPU mounting. For horizontal mounting, GPUs up to 410mm in length are supported. For vertical mounting, GPUs up to 390mm are supported. The vertical GPU mounting bracket is slotted for four slots. Note that a riser cable for vertical GPU mounting is not included and must be purchased separately.

4.4. Stàladh Solarachadh Cumhachd

The power supply unit (PSU) is mounted at the bottom of the case in the dual-chamber design. The case supports PSUs up to 180mm in length.

The case provides mounting options for 2 x 3.5" HDDs and 1 x 2.5" SSD. These are typically located in the hidden chamber behind the motherboard tray for clean cable management.

The DY470 offers extensive cooling options, supporting up to 10 x 120mm fans and dual 360mm radiators. A 120mm PWM ARGB fan is pre-installed at the rear. Additional fans and radiators can be installed at the top, side, and bottom.

  • Top: Supports 3x120mm or 2x140mm fans, or 120/240/280/360 liquid coolers.
  • Taobh: Supports 3x120mm or 2x140mm fans, or 120/240/280/360 liquid coolers.
  • Gu h-ìosal: Supports 3x120mm or 2x140mm fans.
  • Cùl: Supports 1x120mm fan or 120 liquid cooler.

4.7. Riaghladh càball

The dual-chamber design and included velcro straps facilitate hassle-free cable management. The wire-covering back panel helps keep cables tidy and out of sight, ensuring optimal airflow and a clean aesthetic.

5. Stiùireadh Obrachaidh

Once all components are installed and connected, you can power on your system using the power button on the front I/O panel. The LED control button allows you to cycle through various RGB lighting modes for the included ARGB fan and any other compatible ARGB components connected to your motherboard's RGB header.

The case includes a pull-out dust filter at the bottom, which helps prevent dust accumulation inside the system. Regularly clean this filter to maintain optimal airflow and component longevity.

  • To clean, gently pull out the bottom dust filter.
  • Remove accumulated dust using a soft brush or compressed air.
  • Slide the clean filter back into its slot.

6.2. Glanadh Coitcheann

For external surfaces, use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the case. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or tempered glass. For internal cleaning, use compressed air to remove dust from fans and components.

  • Fans/RGB not lighting up: Ensure all fan power cables are correctly connected to the fan hub/controller and that the fan hub/controller is receiving power (e.g., via a SATA power connector from the PSU). Also, verify that the ARGB signal cable from the fan hub/controller is connected to a compatible ARGB header on your motherboard. Note: An RGB Hub Controller is not included with the case.
  • Front I/O ports not working: Check that all front I/O cables (USB 3.0, USB 2.0, Type-C, HD Audio, Power, Reset, LED) are securely connected to the correct headers on your motherboard.
