This manual provides detailed instructions for assembly, installation, usage, and care to ensure a safe and satisfying experience.

5. Setup agus Stàladh

Before you begin, ensure you have the following tools (not included): pencil, measuring tape, level, drill, screwdriver, and hammer (for wall anchors).

5.1. Choosing Your Installation Method

The Pipishell Floating Shelves offer two installation options:

  • Floating Shelf (Concealed Brackets): For a minimalist look, the brackets are hidden beneath the shelf. Maximum load capacity: 10 lbs (4.5 kg).
  • Standard Shelf (Visible Brackets): For increased support, the brackets are installed below the shelf, visible. Maximum load capacity: 40 lbs (18 kg).

5.2. General Installation Steps (Applies to both methods)

  1. Suidheachadh a’ chomharra: Choose the desired location for your shelf. Use a level and pencil to mark the positions for the bracket holes on the wall. Ensure the marks are level and spaced correctly for the chosen shelf size.

  5. Mount Shelf:
    • For Floating Installation: Place the wooden shelf onto the brackets, ensuring the brackets fit into the pre-drilled slots on the underside of the shelf. Secure the shelf to the brackets using the smaller screws provided, from the underside.
    • For Standard Installation: Place the wooden shelf on top of the installed brackets. Secure the shelf to the brackets using the smaller screws provided, drilling through the pre-drilled holes on the top surface of the brackets into the underside of the shelf.

Be mindful of the weight limits for each installation type (10 lbs for floating, 40 lbs for standard) to prevent damage or injury. The set includes three different sizes, allowing for flexible arrangement in various rooms such as living rooms, bedrooms, and bathrooms.
