This manual provides instructions for the StarTech.com MDP2DVIS Mini DisplayPort to DVI Active Adapter. This adapter allows you to connect a Mini DisplayPort (mDP) enabled source device, such as a computer or laptop, to a DVI-D display, monitor, or projector. Follow these steps to connect your Mini DisplayPort source to a DVI display:

5. If your DVI cable supports screw locking, tighten the screws on the DVI connector to secure the connection.
6. Power on your DVI display, then power on your source device.
7. The display should automatically detect the signal. If not, you may need to select the correct input source on your DVI display or adjust display settings on your source device.
